Rauf is disappointed that he was not given a chance to clear his name and was excluded from the Champions Trophy but once his name is cleared he will resume his career in the game he loves. Rauf is bound by the ICC code so at an appropriate time he will speak.”

Former Test cricketers Richard Hadlee, Martin Snedden and Geoff Allott have been elected in the New Zealand Cricket board of directors. The three were among eight new directors voted in by delegates representing all Major Associations and District Associations in a general meeting in Auckland.The other five members included in the new board of directors were Greg Barclay, Neil Craig, Liz Dawson, Stuart Heal and Don Mackinnon, all of whom have experience in sport and corporate administration and governance. Barclay, Heal and Mackinnon, who are also current NZC directors, were relected. The three former cricketers also have extensive experience in administration of the sport.Heal, the current chair of the audit and financial risk committee, will act as interim chairman of the board till a permanent chairman is elected at the first board meeting on October 23.The vote was an outcome of the new NZC constitution that was approved in July.

O Boavista começou a partida tão animado que acabou errando o lado e marcando um gol contra, aos três minutos do primeiro tempo. Após cobrança de escanteio de Caio Henrique, a bola passou e encontrou o pé direito de Márcio Costa, que acabou mandando para as próprias redes, Fluminense 1 a 0. Os comandados de Eduardo Allax tentaram acertar o lado aos nove, mas o goleiro Rodolfo fez boa defesa em tentativa de Carlos Alberto.

POUCA CRIAÇÃO, MAS LETRA EFETIVA
Os minutos passavam e ficava marcada a pouca criação de ambas as equipes. O Fluminense se mostrava calmo, tranquilo – até compreensível, já que o gol aos três minutos abrira o placar. Apesar disto, sem levar perigo do Boavista, o Tricolor aproveitou o momento certo para ser efetivo e ampliou aos 38 minutos – com um golaço, diga-se de passagem. Yony González achou Gilberto, bateu, o goleiro Rafael espalmou, Everaldo pegou o rebote e Luciano, de letra, colocou o 2 a 0 a favor do Fluminense no marcador. Lindo gol!

أكد محمود حرب مدير منتخب مصر الأولمبي، أن حديث البرازيلي روجيرو ميكالي المدير الفني للفراعنة ومحمد بركات عضو اتحاد الكرة المصري، هو كلمة السر في التأهل لنصف نهائي أمم إفريقيا، مشيراً أن الهدف الأساسي لنا هو حصد اللقب.

وتقام بطولة كأس أمم إفريقيا في المغرب من الفترة 24 يونيو وتستمر حتي 8 من شهر يوليو الجاري.

واستطاع منتخب مصر التأهل كمتصدر للمجموعة الثانية في البطولة، وسيواجه منتخب غينيا في الدور قبل النهائي لأمم إفريقيا.

وقال حرب خلال تصريحات عبر برنامج رقم 10 المذاع على القناة الأولى: “مررنا بظروف صعبة وجهاز فني تولي منذ فترة ولاعبين لا يلعبون بشكل أساسي مع فرقهم وإمامهم لاعبون محترفون وبنيانهم قوي جدًا”.

كشفت تقارير صحفية أن بيب جوارديولا، المدير الفني لفريق مانشستر سيتي، لا يتوقع توقيع عقد جديد مع بطل أوروبا.

ومن المعروف أن العقد الحالي للمدرب الإسباني مع مانشستر سيتي سينتهي في صيف 2025.

وانتشرت تكهنات حول إمكانية رحيل جوارديولا عن مانشستر سيتي هذا الصيف بعد تحقيق الثلاثية التاريخية، ولكن تقارير أمس الأول أكدت إنه ينوي البقاء حتى نهاية عقده الحالي.

ووفقًا لشبكة “إسبن” العالمية، فإن مصادر مقربة أوضحت أن بيب جوارديولا لا يتوقع فكرة توقيعه على عقد جديد بعد نهاية صفقته الحالية.

وأوضحت أن جوارديولا لم يتخذ قرارًا حتى الآن بشأن مستقبله، ولكنه يميل نحو إنهاء فترة تدريبه في “الاتحاد” بعد موسمين آخرين.

وأشارت إلى أن جوارديولا، حسب المصادر نفسها، يتطلع بعد ذلك لتولي وظيفة في منتخب وطني، بعدما ارتبط سابقًا بكل من البرازيل والولايات المتحدة الأمريكي.

ورغم ذلك، فإن مانشستر سيتي لم يفقد آماله تجاه إمكانية بقاء جوارديولا لفترة أطول من عقده الحالي، ولكن الإدارة ستحترم قراره إذا رغب في الرحيل.

يُذكر أن جوارديولا قاد مانشستر سيتي لتحقيق 12 بطولة، أبرزها لقب دوري أبطال أوروبا والدوري الإنجليزي 5 مرات.

He will abstain from discharging his duties as the BCCI president for now but N Srinivasan will continue to represent the Indian board at the ICC.After returning from the working committee meeting in Chennai, Mumbai Cricket Association’s acting president Ravi Savant confirmed to ESPNcricinfo that Srinivasan emerged as the preferred choice when it came to representation at the game’s governing body.While Savant didn’t elaborate on the reasons, another member revealed ‘continuity’ as the main factor. “Since Srinivasan has been attending most of the ICC meetings for the last couple of years, it makes sense not to disturb the pattern,” he said, preferring anonymity.Representation at the ICC was one of the critical issues during behind-the-doors deals going into Sunday’s working committee that resulted in Srinivasan temporarily stepping aside as the BCCI president.The ICC’s annual conference is to be held in London from June 25 to 29, and it remains to be seen whether Srinivasan, often accused (or complimented) as the man who unofficially drives ICC’s decision-making, will enjoy the same clout among the group of ICC chief executives that he has enjoyed so far.Had it not been the for the arrests of three Rajasthan Royals players on May 16 for alleged spot-fixing, Srinivasan wouldn’t have had to convene two emergency working committee meetings in as many weeks. However, neither the arrested players nor Srinivasan’s son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan, the Chennai Super Kings management member who has been arrested on the charge of betting on IPL games, were even discussed during the meeting. “Neither betting nor spot-fixing was mentioned even once during the meeting, just like resignation,” said another member.Meanwhile, one of the first tasks of Jagmohan Dalmiya, who has been put in charge of BCCI’s day-to-day activities till the internal probe is completed, will be to appoint a new secretary and a treasurer. Even though the BCCI working committee has requested Sanjay Jagdale and Ajay Shirke to withdraw their resignations, both Jagdale and Shirke have made up their mind not to backtrack on their decisions to step down as secretary and treasurer respectively. Besides, Dalmiya will also have to name Jagdale’s replacement in the three-member internal inquiry panel to probe into complaints against Super Kings, Meiyappan and Royals.Even though Dalmiya can choose candidates of his choice, the appointments will have to be ratified by the BCCI’s working committee. Similarly, all the decisions taken by him will have to be approved by the working committee, which is likely to be convened once every fortnight. “In all likelihood, Srinivasan will abstain from all the working committee meetings till his name is cleared in this episode,” a member said.The situation where the BCCI finds itself after ten days of back and forth with Srinivasan, offering suggestions and conditions on how to deal with the news of his son-in-law’s arrest, is exactly what had been offered to Srinivasan on the first day – that he ease himself off his official duties until the board’s own investigation into the IPL corruption scandal could be completed.Srinivasan though dug his heels, ensured that the escalating crisis took out his two most competent aides, forcing him to call the working committee together for the first time following Gurunath’s arrest. It meant that that the agenda of the meeting moved from the crisis in the BCCI to saving an individual.

A Ponte Preta, por meio de seu departamento jurídico, protocolou na tarde desta sexta-feira no Superior Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva (STJD) o pedido de impugnação da partida contra a Aparecidense, na última terça, pela primeira fase da Copa do Brasil. Os goianos venceram por 1 a 0, no entanto a Ponte alega que houve interferência externa na anulação do gol de Hugo Cabral, aos 44 minutos do segundo tempo.

O advogado da Ponte, João Felipe Artioli, cita no processo imagens que mostram o delegado da partida, Adalberto Grecco, em contato com o auxiliar Samuel Oliveira da Costa. O advogado da Ponte Preta também menciona, em sua argumentação, ter visto “uma pessoa que aparenta ser um repórter” conversando com o delegado. A pessoa citada é Rafael Sebba, da TV Anhanguera, afiliada da TV Globo. Sebba nega ter dado qualquer informação ao delegado do jogo e relata só ter ouvido dele “você não pode falar nada”.

– Não tem como não crer que houve interferência. Após o bandeira 1 assinalar o gol, o árbitro ratificou. Aplicou amarelo a um atleta da Aparecidense, justificando que ele reclamou de decisão da arbitragem. Por volta dos 47 ou 48 minutos, o delegado conversa com uma pessoa que aparenta ser um repórter e, pouco depois, os atletas vão entrando em campo impedindo o reinício do jogo. O delegado entra, fala com o bandeirinha 1, com a mão na boca e, pouco depois que o bandeirinha 1 fala com o árbitro, ele anula o gol. Além do que, o árbitro diz na súmula que pessoas desconhecidas entraram em campo, mas omite a presença do delegado. Este não é um estranho para a arbitragem – disse Artioli, em trecho reproduzido primeiramente pelo GloboEsporte.com.

O STJD tem dois caminhos a seguir, segundo o Código Brasileiro de Justiça Desportiva: pedir que as partes e a Procuradoria se manifestem, mas sem mencionar a questão de homologação do resultado, ou incluir no seu despacho que o resultado da partida seja suspenso até a a decisão final.

O primeiro jogo da Aparecidense pela segunda fase da Copa do Brasil já está marcado: a data prevista é 27 de fevereiro, contra o Bragantino-PA.
